Download this digital sample of our Mala Llama Calming Cards to get a preview of our cards.
Calming Cards support wellbeing and positive health providing coping strategies and meditation tips. Each card is linked to a key element that enables you to realise your abilities to help deal with some of the mind’s greatest obstacles.
The 30 cards in a pack can be used one-a-day or you may select a small selection to work with each day. Each affirmation on the front of the card is to be read out loud followed by the coping strategies and meditation tips on the reverse. When the user has put these into practice they may return to the original affirmation.
Mala Llama Yearly/Monthly Mood Trackers
Help track your moods with our yearly and monthly (Jan-Dec) Mood Trackers with blank mood keys to insert your own emotions that best describe how you were feeling on that day.
Understanding your moods helps you manage them and feel better faster. If you are more aware of your moods, you may be able to better manage your lifestyle choices, make informed health decisions, prevent or avoid triggers of negative moods, and work towards a better quality of life.
Simply download our PDF Mood Tracker and colour in each day the emotion that you felt.
Spiky Profile
The “spiky profile” is a visual representation of personal and work-related strengths and areas for development. The aim of the spiky profile is to promote inclusivity rather than exclusivity.
Spiky profiles can be used to help understand Autism and ADHD however, as I see Autism as a spectrum, I like to use this with all my classes to understand how each child works.
Dear Future Self - Getting To Know
Use these worksheets to help to get to know your students and build a rapport in the classroom. Students can also use the Dear Future Self to help set future goals and aspirations which they can look back on at the end of the year to see their progress.
These activities increase student participation, student motivation about the class, and positive perception of the tutor.
**These are used for technical theatre subjects (specialisms) but can be adapted.
